Step 1
Cut the joint on both sides with a Stanley knife.
Step 2
Remove the existing sealant using the back of the Bison Multi Tool.
Step 3
Remove difficult residues with a sealant scraper.
Step 4
Slightly roughen the edge with a cleaning sponge.
Step 5
Degrease the bath with household ammonia.
Tip: Let it dry properly. If necessary, slightly heat with a hair dryer.
Step 6
Apply the tape on the bath and wall, approximately 2 to 3 mm from the centre of the joint.
Tip: In the case of unstable baths (slightly wobbly), fill the bath full of water so the weight creates the maximum joint width.
Step 7
Apply plenty of sealant evenly along the joint.
Tip: Hold the Power Pistol at an angle of 45 degrees. Work from a corner, with the oblique side of the nozzle pointing downwards.
Tip: If necessary, use a new nozzle for the correct diameter.
Step 8
Immerse the Bison Multi Tool in soapy water, without any citrus ingredients.
Step 9
Smooth off the sealant seam within 10 minutes using the Multi Tool to obtain a receding seam.
Tip: Use the Bison Multi Tool with the concave side up so that the excess sealant is collected.
Step 10
Remove the tape.
Step 11
Finally, gently smooth off the sealant by running a soapy finger along it.
Step 12
Admire the result!
