MOUNTING & SEALING A MIRROR

Preparation: Lay out all the materials you need for this job.

Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the mirror with a lint-free cloth and household ammonia.

Now clean the wall removing dust and grease.

Mounting the mirror: Apply Poly Max® in vertical lines every 20 cm.

Make only vertical lines to prevent trapping moisture and therefore penetrating damp spots.

Start and end the adhesive lines approximately 5 cm from the edges to prevent the Poly Max® oozing out from behind the mirror.

Mount the mirror against the wall within 10 minutes.

Place the mirror at the desired position against the wall and press against it firmly.

Position the mirror so that the seam width around it is equal.

Use distance pieces to get the mirror into the right position.

The mirror is sufficiently secure after 30 minutes allowing you to seal it off.

Sealing the mirror: Work from a corner, with the slanting side of the nozzle pointing downwards.

If necessary, use a new nozzle with the correct diameter.

Immerse the Bison Multi Tool in soapy water.

Smooth off the sealant seam within 10 minutes using the Multi Tool.

Use the Bison Multi Tool with the concave side up so that the excess sealant is collected.

Finished! And what a beautiful result.
